CHILDS DEATH IN HOSPITAL
RESULT OF SEVERE BURNS. Electric Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, Last Night. John Frederick Smales. aged one year, son of Frederick Leonard Smales, public servant, 83 Trafalgar Street, Lower Hutt. died in the Wellington Public Hospital at the weekend. The child was admitted to the hospital on Friday suffering from severe burns about the body and arms, deceived when he accidentally pulled the contents of a hot-water jug on to himself.
