LATE MRS. J. C. DAVIDSON
FUNERAL SERVICE. General regret was felt when it was known that the death had occurred of Mrs Mary Davidson, wife of one of Pahiatua’s prominent businessmen, Mr J. C. Davidson. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon when a very largo cortege followed. The deceased had lived practically her whole life in the district and was very popular. The many floral wreaths spoke fittingly of the sincere regret at her passing. A family service was hold at the residence after which a short" service was conducted at the graveside bv Rev. H. K. Button.
