THE POPE COLLAPSES.
CONDITION EXTREMELY GRAVE PHYSICIANS FEAR BRONCHIAL PNEUMONIA. (Received 10.4 a.m.) (independent Cable Service, United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegrapr.—Copyright. ROME, February 9. The Pope collapsed at 4.45 p.m. and became unconscious. He was given an adrenalin injection and revived at 5.15 when it is stated he tell into a restorative sleep but it was later reported his condition was extremely grave and the physicians fear that bronchial pneumonia is setting in. Holy Sacraments were brought to the Pope's bedside. The Pope was still sleeping at 6 p.m. His Holiness received his niece the Marchese Ugahni this mosning when he seetr.eu to be bearing up well hut collapsed in the afternoon as a result of a heart attack. Cardinal Schuster, who is mentioned as the next Pops has arrived in Rome. POPE REPORTED WEAKER (Received 11.5 a.m.) VATICAN CITY, Feb. 9. It is semi-officialiy announced that the Pops is weaker and anxiety exists.
