S.O.S, FROM BRITISH FREIGHTER FOUR LINERS SPEED TO RESCUE United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, Fab. 9. Anxiety over-the fate of the British freighter Maria De Larrinaga, which radioed “SOS, sinking mid-Atlantic, approximately 1100 miles from New York,” has increased greatly after three hours have elapsed without further signals from her. Four liners, the nearest 200 miles distant are speeding to the rescue- The vessel carries a crew of thirty^even. NO TRACE FOUND. BELIEVED SUNK WITH ALL HANDS. NEW YORK, Feb. 9. The liner Veendam has reachthe last-named position, but has found no trace of the Maria de Larrinaga and it is feared the ship has sunk with all hands. Four other ships are searching.
