FIRST LAMB OF SEASON
APPEARS IN W AIR A RAP A. Electric Telegraph—Press Association MASTER TON „ June 21. The YYairarapa s first lamb of the season appeared to-day on the farm of Mr T. M. Kerins, Akura, Master ton. Another 12 are expected to put in an appearance before next Tuesday. This first lamb was not unusually early, said Mr Kerins. Four years ago there had been 30 lambs on his farm by June 20 and he had been able to sell them as" 35-pounders immediately the freezing works opened.
