J. McDonnell. Lake Waitaki, Otago. Second prize of £500: 171523. H. S Butcher. Patoaroa. Otago. Third prize of £2OO : 43776, “At Last.” Mrs T W. Brown, Main road. Upper Hutt Fourth prize of £IOO : 38025. “Joyce. Jack and James,” Melling and Miramar. Fifth prize of £75: 86722, “Mother,” Wanganui. None of the smaller prizes came to Pahiatua LUC KY OTAGO WINNERS. DUNEDIN. Last Night. rhe fortunate holder of the winning tic ket is Mr J. O Donnell, who is employed as a switchboard operator at the Lake Waitaki hydro-elec-tric power station. Mr O'Donn# 11. wlu» is a married man with one child, is 35 years of ag» and has been at Lake Waitaki for about 12 months. He was formerly employed at the power station at Lake Waikaremoana. The purchase by post of ticket 171.523 proved a lucky investment for Mr H. S. Butcher, winner ot the second prize. Mr But<*lier is a young single* man who for the past five years has been employed as a rabbiter on Mr W. Gibson s property near Patearoa
