TRAIN PLUNGES INTO RIVER 20 DROWNED AND 60 INJURED. (liocolved 11.8 a.in.) Dinted Press Assn —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.. CHICAGO, June 19. A passenger train from Chicago to Seattle plunged into a crock when a bridge collapsed after heavy rain had undermined a pier. It is estimated that 20 were drowned and 60 injured. The engine, baggage and mail cars, two coaches and two sleepers were submerged. The engine crew, baggageman, and mail clerk are among the fatalities.
