Delayed since the beginning of July, for a full agreement to be reached at Wellington, the o|K*uing of the Auckland w iterfrout labour bureau will take place on Wednesday. The organisation at tin* bureau office on the Central Wharf is ready for the new system, which will eliminate the old * auction block ’ moth »d of selecting men for work on the wharves. It is probable that the bureau will receive a severe testing immediately it is open. Shipping schedules at { resent give five overseas ships in p »rt on W» dnesday, and they will tv augmented by a further six deep **ea, vessels on Thursday. Shipping company managers aro unanimous that, providing suit-iMo men are selected anti that the plan iv accepted in the s system will be an outstanding si; - cess. The men welcome it as a measure lor more equal distribution ->i labour, as well as a means of removing many other sources o» dissatisfaction .
