WOODVILLE GUN CLUB.
SUCCESSFUL SHOOT. A most, successful shoot was (•onducted by the VVoodvilJe Gun Club on Saturday on the Club’s grounds. Shooting conditions were ideal and seventeen members were on the mark. Shooting was of a high standard, especially in the last event of the day, an eight-bird sweepstake, which is probably the best exhibition given by members for some time. Of the sixteen entrants, five secuied the possible and nine brought down seven birds. The first event was tlie third round of the Mackie Cup, resulting in J. T. Horne, F. D. Mackie and T. Wrigley being first equal. The ten bird Yankee shoot for three trophies attracted seventeen men. a tie again resulting with O. Mackie, T. Wrigley and S. Mclntosh in the lead. A shoot-off resulted in T. Wrigley winning with C. Mackie and S. Mclntosh second and third respectively. Following are the details of each shoot:—
