The Notts Club passed a resolution suspending Harold Larwood for the remainder of the season on “account of a breach of discipline.” The chairman of the club declined to give details.

Larwood says that after treatment lor injury he was told to report for practice but was unable to. He went to the ground oil August 21st to report fit. He anticipated that he wac selected but his name was not on the team sheet and he was told to practice with the ground staff at the nets toi the rest of the week. ‘'Except at the beginning of the season I have never practiced with the ground staff at the nets and I declined.'' he said. Larwood adds that ho intended to report again to-day but received a letter suspending him.
