WENT OUT WITH THE HORSE.
“Man’s inhumanity to man makes countless thousands mourn.” That inscription, painted in large white letters, was the former occupant’s farewell message as he vacated his business premises in Timaru. Me was engaged in work the basis of which was the oncepopular horse. The inscription no doubt applies to those who have brought the motor industry to its present flourishing state, and who have made the horse take a back seat.
