BIBBY STOCK IN DEMAND. Messrs Abraham and- Williams, Ltd., in conjunction with the New Zealand Farmer.!' Co-operative Distributing Co., Ltd., report holding a successful sale of dairy cows and heifers, along with a large guantity of timber, sundries, etc., on account of Mr F. W. Bibby, of Mangahao, on Wednesday, loth July. Several pedigree cows sold at from 7%, 10, 11 to 12£ guineas ; grade cows, best July and August calvers, from £7 J os, £B, £8 lOs, £9, £9 10s, £lO, £lO 10s to £ll ; others, from £5, £o 10s, £6, £6 10s; springing Jersey heifers, £5, £5 10s, £6, £6 10s, £7, £7 os, £7 10s, £7 15s, £B, £8 2s 6d, £8 o to £8 7s 6*d. Timber of all classes sold well up to late rates. An outside entry of two draught horses on account of Mr R. Burns sold particularly well. One five-year gekling by Air H. Begley's General Russell, broken to all work, realised £sl ; one three-year filly, broken to lead, £4l.
