THURSDAY NIGHT'S MEETING. The usual fortnightly meeting of the above lodge was held cn Thursday, J.P A. Bro-. H. Fisher presiding over a moderate attendance. Correspondence was received from the Wa.irarr.pa Friendly Societies 7 Hospital Assn., and accounts amounting to £9 2s 8d were passed for payment.

Three members ‘were reported sick and several apologies were received from off icons of the Ledge, including one from the A.D. who- was unable to be present. Three members were proposed for initiation, and three new members were initiated. P.D.P. Bro. G. Godfrey Taylor, who wars a delegate at the recentconference of the Hospital Association, reported on Wednesday’s Hunting at Masterton, saying that the affairs of the Associatin'n were going ahead and that it behoved all lodge members to participate in the benefits available to them. It was decided to bring the honours board up to- date, and the matter of the l obituary board was also discussed, two senior members present each donating £1 to the cost of same. P.D.P. Bro. Taylor presented the secretary. Bro. J. E.. Macdonald with the P.D.P. jewell, and spoke c.f th-> services rendered the Lodge by the latter during his term as D.P. "Bro. Macdonald suitably responding. P.A. Bro. F. Rielder deported on a recent, visit to two lodges in the South Island where felicitations were conveyed on behalf of the Pahiatua members which wore reciprocated.
