SHOOTING PARTY IN TARARUAS When a party'el young men u.nd ladies set out for the top of the Pa~ hiatua Track oil Sunday on a shooting expedition, the male members were not anticipating a night out of their own comfortable beds at home, but when they lost their bearings there was nothing for it but to make the cosiest bivouac they could when darkness descended and hope lor the best in the morning Meanwhile, the women of the party, who had been left at the cars, became anxious at the failure ot the men-folk to returi and r*p<.;ted them missing with the result that two search parties were organised for yesterday, nut thei: services re, fortunately, not required as the missing men found iheir own way out by dinner turn . The young men wer Ylc-r- Husking, Davis and Janus.
