The Morning Post’s political correspondent says that detailed instructions for the conduct of the An-glo-Egyptian negotiations were sent to the High Commissioner after the Cabinet, meeting last night, with a request that Sir Wm. Lampson should press for the adoption, of a scheme of A nglo-Egyptaan military co-opera tion, under which, the number of British troops in Egypt will be substantially increased. Sir William Lampson is also asked to secure adequate protection for foreign interests and property, and safeguards for Imperial communications notably the Suez Canal.
