ALLEGED STATEMENT TO BE PROBED. (Received 12 neon.) United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. EDMONTON. February 11. On the demands of the Liberal Leader (Mr How-son) and the Conservative Leader (Air Duggan) a special committee off 'legislature, will probe the alleged London remarks of Air Doublas which were declared to be offensive to both the Canadian and Alberta Governments. Regarding the proposed Dominion Loan Council, it is alleged that he stated ‘‘lf the provinces allow the remaining outonomies in regard to this most important factor, their constitution finances will be filched away from them. 1 have little doubt that J >emocra c y i s dcomed. ’ 1
