FATAL CAR SMASH.

Charlie Arnold Hay lock, a railway fireman, single, aged 29, was killed and those injured are George Webster, railway fireman, who lias concussion and injuries to the' back and arm, and Allan C. Both the injured men are unmarried. Larte to-night neither was out of danger though Sim was recovering from the effects of the concussion and both had recovered consciousness.

The car had just passed another vehicle when it skidded off the camber of the road, bumped over a. raised crossing and somersaulted into a telegraph pole.
