This morning two anxious Pahiatua residents who purchased a ticket in the last arU union at Wellington under the nom-de-plume or ‘'Mutt and Jeff 7 made a very careful check-up of their ticket number which they found coincides with the number puhlishe<l yesterday as being the winner of £lO. The fortunate investors are Messrs J. J. Thompson and J. Finch. Another Pahiatua man, Mr G. H. Smith, of Oete, won £5 in the same drawing.
