Competition for ail classes oi ewes was very animated and prices exceeded vendors expectations. Jhe top price for 4-yr old ewes on t.ie day was obtained for a pen which we orfered on account A. \Y . Rucked, Kakaunui. This well-known annual draft of ewes came forward in <£ood order and realised 30s. Jas. Breeds’ 4-vr-old ewes created a great deal of interest and eompetition and made the very satisfactory price of 29s 9d. Eor 5-yr-okl ewes Win. Mitchell s line of 282 topped our offering at In the 2-th section A. D. Eglinton’s pen of well grown sheep topped the fair at 38s 6d. while J. P. Iylee’s pen realised 365. The demand for two-tooths was exceptionally keen, the demand exceeding the supply for this class of sheep. We quote our principal sales as under:— 4- ewes—Account A. W.
