JOINT DANCE.
SWIMMING CLUB AND MANGAMUTU COMBINE.
A joint meeting was held last evening of members of the Mangamutu Hall Committee and the social committee of the Pahiatua Swimming C lub, to discuss the best means to overcome the difficulty of having clashed with dances on 26th inst. Aite,r discussion, it was decided to ■combine the two dances, and hold one big dance in the Mangamutu Hall. the fox-trot and waltzing competitions to he held as advertised. The visiting swimmers from Master ton, Dannevirke. Eeilding and 1 almcrston North will be present after the swimming carnival which i.s to be held the same night.
