YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT.
DEPUTATION TO MINISTER. Electric Telegraph—Press Association AT C KLAND, Last Night. Proposals for the alleviation of youth unemployment are at present under consideration, but are not yet ready for publication, the Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, informed a deputation of the Auckland Boys' Employment Committee to-day. Ho assured the deputation of wholehearted co-opera-tion by the Cabinet, find said the Government would utilise the service of the committees
There is nothing more important than rescuing hoys from themselves at the impressionable age, said the Minister. ‘T am one of those who believe in keeping boys longer at school, but we have to make it economically possible for parents to do that.”
