It compares with £169.096 realised at tin* second Auckland sale last season atid £455,455 at the exceptionally good offering in January. 1934. The cheque for tinfirst sale of the current season in December was £240.154. Thus the piocoeds of the two sales so far held amount to about £550,000. Last season th:* first two sales returned £258,346 and in 1933-34 £783,1 19.
