LAMB SLIGHTLY EASIER.

BEEF MORE DEMAND. Lamb market: Prices where changed are slightly easier _ with tendency to case further in view of heavier supplies arriving in the near future. Mutton market: Lightweight wethers remain firm owing to short supplies, with heavyweights easier. Ewes are a shade fiinner owing to more inquiry. Beef market: Frozen beef, 'more inquiry has caused slight advance in prices. New Zealand porker pigs: Market weaker owing to large supplies of Home-killed. The above report was received by the Meat Board from its London office, which advises that the following are the approximate average prices realised for the week based cm actual transactions of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of the goods offering during the week, being for business done on the basis of delivered to Smith field market, and/or ex London stores.
