CAR BURNED AT KAITAWA.
Mr H. Ahrens, of Kaitawa, had the misfortune to lose his car on Saturday altt rnoon when a fire broke out in a garage that was housing his machine on his father’s property. It appears that the owner had been, to Pahiatna during the afternoon, and on Ins iiirn went inside fotj tea. While <h the house the inmates noticed smoko i-Miing From the garage and on rush ng out to investigate found the shed in flames. It was impossible to rescue the ear which was soon a mass of fames.
