Taranaki in their first innings made 66, and when time was reached in the second innings had made 138 for nine wickets. The draw was probably made possible by the sportsmanship jjf M.C.C. in not enforcing a followon Monday. Hardstaff made a bright century this morning, giving only one real chance.
