(.From Our Own Correspondent.) Miss N. Lindsay, of Havelock X., and Mr D. Smith, Canterbury, have been spending a holiday as the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Scott. Kaitawa. Miss J. Macdonald, of Havelock N. is spending the school vacation with her sister. Mrs W. Scott. Kaitawa. Mrs A. Macdonald and her grandson Mastei Alex Mortland. returned to Taihape on Saturday after several weeks’ holiday in Hawke's Bay and Pahiatua as the guest of her daughter. Mr* S A. Wylie. Kaitawa.
