WOMAN ANNOUNCER.
SOUGHT BY 8.8. C. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Convright. LONDON. November 12. The 8.8. C. are seeking a super woman as their first television announcer. Ihe first test transmissions from Alexandra Palace will begin in February and she must have personality, charm, tact and mezzo voice and a good memory because she will nor be allowed to read at the microphone. She must photograph, well and her voice must be acceptable to women listeners because the Corporation has found that women usually do not appreciate women announcers.
