DOCTOR’S HOUSE AFIRE.
FIVE PEOPLE BURNED. (Received 10.30 a.m.) United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph —Copy n ah t. LONDON. November 10. Kive persons were burned to death when fire destroyed the Wimpole Street horny of. Dr. Philip Franklin. A milkman noticed smoke coming, from the top floor in the early morning :uid gave the alarm. He clashed back to. the house in time* to .see an elderly woman lean from an upper window, shouting “For Gods sake get the fire brigade.” Slie then fell back amici the flames. The victims were Mrs Franklin, wife of the doctor. Miss Brook, her niece, the cook, the* housemaid and the kitchenmaid. Dr. Franklin was staying at Bourne End in Buckinghamshire.
