SERVICEABLE BUNDS.
To make cheap but serviceable blinds which look almost as good as the linen variety, use unbleached calico washed, starched and ironed. For an ordinary blind get two yards of unbleached calico, make a hem at one end for tbe lath, and attach the other end to a spring roller. A coarse lace insertion can be used to improve the appearance if wished. Always retain the lath and roller from the old blind before discarding.
