ANGLICAN GARDEN FETE.
The annual garden fete of St. Peter’s Anglican Church will be held in the Y icarage grounds next Tuesday* afternoon and evening. There will be various stalls open for business from 12 noon.
The attractions. both afternoon and evening, will be many and varied. Amongst the musical items the afternoon will be songs by Miss Crooke, of Marton. Air Raynor White, of Wanganui, teacher* of music, organist and well-known figure as musical examiner in New Zealand, will be present to play and give a delightful talk on music. In the evening the Girls* Club will contribute two items. Ordinary dancing as well as folk daucing will be held on the lawn. dock golf, putting, etc., will be among the compot it ions. There will be ail ice cream stall.
