The high prices that ruled fo; lamb in the Waikato during ihe boom period were referred to. at a meeting of the Waikato County Council, when a settler wrote stating that in 1920 lie sold his farm in Si. Ivilda Road, Cambridge, at £7O an acre. The property reverted to him owing to the purchasers being unable to gulfil tin ir obligations, and it had recently been re-sold at £l6 1 5s an acre.
