SPURIOUS COINS.
DISCOVERED BY CHILDREN. Electric Telegraph—Press Association GISBORNE, December 29. Children playing in a vacant section discovered a leather satchel containing 178 spurious coins, including florins, roughly cast. Evidently they had been in the hiding place for a considerable time.
