THE LATE MR. J. F. TREDER.

The late Mr J. F. Treder, of Ko:ilni, came to this country from Poland with his parents when a boy of 14 years. They landed in Wellington in the shin Victory I. in May 1884, and resided in the Masterton district. If e married Miss Mary Elizabeth Rzoska in 1896 and was employed by numerous well-known settlers in the Wairarapa for many yeiirs. The deceased was very highly respected by all those with whom he came in contact. In June, 1915. the late Mr Treder removed with his family to the Forty Mile Bush, and took up a farm on. the Ridge Road, Konini, where he had resided ever since. He was of an exceedingly industrious nature, and his farm was highly improved. Besides his widow he leaves a family of four to mcvuriL their loss. They oomprise-v-Messrs George and James .Treder (Ivon ini). Mrs F. B. Connor (Konkii), and Mrs J. J Brosnahah (Mangama ire). There are seven grand-children. He also leaves one sister. Mrs F. Byrne (Mas terton).
