EXTENSION PROPOSED IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA. (Received 10.20 a.m.) United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. ADELAIDE. September 6. The State Assembly passed the second reading of a Bill increasing the life of Parliament from three to five years. An amendment limiting the life of the Legislative Council to six years is expected as the result- of the Council’s rejection of the Bill.
