PRICES AT MASTERTON.

'There was a large attendance at the Masterton sale. Fat sheep were in good demand at late rates, while stores met a keen demand at slightly better prices. Dairy cattle were hard to sell, and several lots were passed. Rigs sold at advanced rates under keen competition. FAT SHEEP SLIGHTLY FIRMER In spite of the smaller yarding of beef at the Westfield (Auckland) sale there was no improvement in [irices.
