Magnette, won the Ulster Tourist Trophy motor race, averaging 78.65 miles ~an hour. His time was 5 hours 56 minutes 34 seconds. H. Hamilton (M.G. Midget) was second (73.46 miles), T. Richards (Alfa Romeo) third (78.71 miles), and F. Dixon (Riley) fourth (72.71 miles) . Half a million people lining the Ards circuit watched Nuvolari careering at over 80 miles an hour and cornering spectacularly to win the race after a terrific duel with Hamr ilton.

Twenty-five started and nine finished.

Nuvolari broke a. record, covering one lap at a speed of 80.22 miles an hour..
