OPOSSUM TRAPPERS.
Most of the opossum trappers, who have been engaged in the Wairarapa during the season, are now in, and although fair catches are reported, they are not up to the previous season. Among the best reported was 400 for one trapper. In Featherston the average price was os 6d per skin, while one particular good line of about 150 skins realised 6s from a local buyer.
