ANGLERS' CLUB ACTIVITIES.

LIBERATION OF YEARLINGS. There was a good muster of members ol the local Anglers’ dub over the week-end for the purpose of liberating 3000 brown trout yearlings. The Masterton hatchery staff, with the lorry conveying the yearlings, arrived punctually to time and members were soon busy 7 liberating the yearlings, which were in splendid condition, in the various rivers of the district.

On Friday the hatchery staff,, accompanied by Mr G. Powell, of Makuri. liberated 900 rainbow yearlings in the Makuri river.
