TIRAUMEA NEWS.
A very enjovable euchre party was held recently in the Tiraumea hall in aid of hall funds. The prizes were won by Mrs Scott Raleigh and Mr Curtis and the booby prizes by Miss Winnie Jewitt and Mr Malcomi Robbie. A few dances were indulged m, the music being supplied by Miss Beresford. Mrs John Li vert on. Messrs Geoff. Curtis and Lynch Some iiumorons songs by Mr Lynch were much enjoyed. A dainty home-made supper was handed round ana the singing of Aulcl Lang Syne terminated a successful evening at midnight. * ~ Misses Raleigh (Saunders Road) and Simpson / Marton) are visiting Mr and Mrs Scott Raleigh . Miss Betty Higgmson is visiting Mr and Mrs‘H. Higginson. Mrs Houibrooke has gone for a hoiiclav to Palmerston North.
