EFFECT OF EXCHANGE.
As an instance of the effect of the 2-5 per .cent, exchange on dairy companies, the secretary of the Papatawa Dairy Company, Mr J. G. Brechin, stated at the annual meeting on Saturday that the company had benefited to the extent of £1336. On a turnover of 226 tons, this worked out at £6 jier ton.
