PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. report on the weekly Pahiatua sale, held on Tuesday, when a fair yarding of dairy cattle came forward. Dairy cattle met with dull competition. Quotations: If empty owes, 6s 7d; 1 fat cow, £2 10s; 2 fat cows, £2; 5 weauer heifers, 345; 1 Jersey springing cow (good), £5 7s 6d; 1 ditto, £4 os; 1 springing cow, l springing heifer, £3 los; 15 weauer jersey heifers, 27s 6d.
