THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
The Governor-Pen ernj (Lord Bledisloe) and Lady Bledisloe will pay a short visit of five days to Christchurch about the end of next month, arriving on the morning of Thursday, September 28, and leaving on the following Monday. His Excellency will open the Canterbury Horticultural Society's spring flower show on the day of his arrival, and on the following evening will attend the annual dinner of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce.
