FULL RATE SUBSIDY.
DESIRED BY WAIPUKURAU. Electric Telegraph—Press Association WAIPUKURAU, This Day. The Borough Council last evening resolved on the motion of Or. J. McCarthy, that the Minister of Finance be again asked for a full rate subsidy in view of the fact that the urban farm land rating act nullified the effect of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction Act. The mover considered tlm question should be considered by the Minister before deciding to announce a contemplated rebate to counties.
