CHOPPED FINGER WITH-AXE
A painful accident befel Mr E. d. Krivan. a member of the Woodviile railway staff, on Friday. He was chopping wood and the axe slipped and took off the end of the middle finger of his left hand. He was removed to hospital, where the finger was amputated at the top joint.
