WEDDING BELLO.

WHITEHEAD—SECEDIN' Tlic. wedding was solemnised at St. Paul’s Church. Pahiatua, recently of Molly Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs ,C. Sebelin. of Mangamutu. to Shirley Clarence, eldest son of Mr and Mrs R. Whitehead, Ohingaiti. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. F. Sutherland, the organist being Mrs Rombacfi. The bride, who entered the church with her father, was robed in a fifteen century gown of fine ivory white Chantilly iaee, over ivory satrn, with long tight lace sleeves. The neckline was finished with pleated georgette, with a pear! embroidered girdle marking the waistline. Her long veil of embroidered tulle was arranged on a cap of lace, finished with side posies of orange blossom and satin streamers, while a. trail of orange blossoms encircled the head. She carried a sheath of lilies. The two. bridesmaids, Misses Nell and Rose Sc-belin. sisters of the bride, wore blue georgette and pale pink georgette. Both frocks were ankle length with alternative sections of frills from the waistline and finished with hand-made rosebuds. Both wore lac* coatees with ties of georgette falling from the neckline, and crinoline hate and shoes in the same shade as their frocks. Thev carried bouquets to tone.

Two flower girls, Phyllis Sebelin, who wore peach frilled net and sunbonnet of tulle and green ballet shoes, and Joyce .Whitehead, who was dressed the same, only in a shade of pale lemon, carried posies to match their frocks.

The duties of best man and groomsman were carried out by Mr Ken Lett and Mr S’. Sauer. The wedding breakfast, which was held at the “Savoy,” was followed by a dance in tli e Mangamutu Hall. The guests were received by Mrs Sebelin. wearing beige georgette and lace, and carrying bououet of red carnations. Mrs E. Whitehead wore figured marocain with touches of green and carried a bouquet of shaded roses.

The bride’s travelling suit was a Parma violet. wool-crepe ensemble, finished with pleated georgette of the same shade, with small Parma hat and shoes to tone. The honeymoon is being spent in the South Island, and Mr and Mrs Si Whitehead's future home will be in Auckland. *
