GENERAL BOOTH
CONDOLENCE AND ENCOURAGEMENT HIS NEXT MOVE. (Received 9.25 .a.m.) United Press Assn —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON. February 14. General Br:.newell Booth faced the second deposition serenely unperturbed. He was the recipient of many telegrams of condolence and enc'ouri.gement. and is now discussing the next move with his wife, daughter and other members of the family. He is expected to meet his legal advisers on Friday. An important fact is that he is still trusted with Army funds, which thus remain under his control. Intellectually General Booth is stated to be as vigorous rjs ever, and apart from the .crisis he has continued dictating from memory, but his physical strength is poor. It is likely that Commissioner Higgins will appoint Commissioner Lamb his Chief of Staff.—Australian Press Association.
