KING’S PICTURES
TO-NIGHT—GREAT SEA DRAAIA. If you want to see a moving picture that is different from anything you have vet seen, go to the King’s Theatre this evening, where “The Blood Ship,” a new type c* sea melodrama, is tha. featured attraction. It is one of the mpst satisfying films we have viewed in some time- Rea] action, perfect characterisation and wonderful pjiptograiphy make this an outstanding production. The story, with its background of elemental passions run riot. holds the interest from tlie very start. The plot, in its essence, concerns jtself with fhe brutal carrying-on® of “Black Yankee” Swope, a clipper ship captain who knocked his man cub first and asked questions afterward. His nemesis played by Hobart Bosworth, comes up with Mm, and off hoard ship takes place one of the most thrilling two-man fights ever screened,. A noticeable feat in connection with the picture i« that action rather than titles is depended upon toi put the, story across. In ten reels of lastly moving drama, there are only about fifty titles, and that is what makes “The Blood Sh#p” ring so true.
Comedy, gazettes and reviews complete a splendid programme. Special music will be rendered by orchestra, ultraphqne and organ.
