Frocks, valued at £ISOO, were exhibited at the Criminal Court, Alelbourne, in the case against Mrs E!l----freda Court, who- was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for having stolen them from a city warehouse. where she was employed as a saleswoman. Mrs Court said she had acquired 246 frocks for her wedding, but all had been bought from various sources, and not stolen.—Australian Press Assn.
