DIED ON WAY TO HOSPITAL

SEAMAN AT GISBORNE. Electric Telegraph—Press Association GISBORNE, August 18. A verdict of death from haemmorrhage, as the result of degeneration of the cerebral vessels was returned by the coroner (Mi' Levvey, S.M.) at an inquest this morning on Duncan McDonald, 37, a seaman on the tug Pelican. McDonald was found sitting on the kerb of 'the Gladstone road at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, And died while being conveyed to the Cook hospital.
