Several times lie almost scored a knockout. RADFORD OUTPOINTS GRIFFITHS. DUNEDIN, Last Night. At the. Drill Hall last night before au attendance of about 1200 Norman Radford (8.13) won on points from Tommy Griffiths (8.lli) in a fifteen-round bout. Griffiths put up one of tlie best fights of his career and went in to mix it more freely than he usually does. But Radford, who is a master of ringcraft. wns too clever for him and scored well with a left rip to the body. The decision was a popular one.
